The CFEE publishes an international scientific journal, the Annales d’Ethiopie, monographs, and books for the general public about Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.

The Annales d’Éthiopie is one of the main international and interdisciplinary journals about Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. It started in 1955. Since 2007, it is jointly published by the CFEE and the Éditions de Boccard (Paris). The journal accepts and publishes articles in French and in English.
The special-issues of the Annales d’Éthiopie aim at publishing monographs or collections of studies that present research dealing with Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa in History, Archaeology, or Palaeontology.
The Ethiopian City Guides of the CFEE are published by the CFEE, and distributed in Ethiopia by Shama Books. They are books for the general readership whose authors are researchers who have acquired considerable knowledge of Ethiopian cities.
The digital publication platform OpenEdition Books brings back old CFEE publications to life and allows a wide audience to access original publications.
The CFEE supports the publication of scientific books about Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa.
